RevRaise Access Check
Login to RevRaise Admin Panel.
To change notifications for a specific hotel, you need to have Theme Editor role.
Filter the name of a certain hotel from overall hotel list.
Display Conditions
If you'd like this displayed for all guests at all times, keep the default option "none" selected. If you'd like the message to only appear under certain conditions, select one of the following options.
-
Date Range: This is based on stay dates.
Notify guests of construction or renovations that could impact specific stay dates.
Highlight inclusions, activations or guest experiences that are offered seasonally.
-
Min Adults
Highlight experiences or policies only relevant to reservations to larger groups.
-
Min Children
Highlight experiences or policies only relevant to reservations that include children
- Min Guest: Adults + Children
Tip: Since the parameters (dates, # of guests, etc) are usually entered on step 1 or passed through from a website booking widget, the notifications that require a special condition typically work best on Step 2 or Step 3.
Region: Select the placement of your notification. If you keep the default option (none), the notification will not be visible. The options will vary based on your hotel's template (see below).
Order: The order is relevant if multiple messages are listed in the same region. Enter a number (1,2,3) for each notification in the region to specify the order, where 1 is the highest on the page. If there is only 1 notification in a region, this can be left blank.
HTML
Notifications support basic HTML. Follow the tips below to add common formatting edits.
-
Hyperlinks: <a href="samplelink.com" target="_blank">text you want displayed/hyperlinked here</a>
Tip: It is a best practice to always add target="_blank" for URLS to ensure the link gets opened in a new tab and a potential guest isn't fully exited out of the booking engine experience.
Underline: <u>put text you want underlined here</u>
Bold: <strong>put text you'd like bolded here</strong>
Italicized <em>put text you'd like italicized here</em>
Paragraph / Line Breaks: <br><br>
-
Change Font or Color Size: <span style="color:#000"><span style="font-size:22px">Text here</span>
Tip: Enter a hex number for color change (#000 is white in the example) and font size by px (22 is in the example)
Region Options
The user experience is divided into 3 simple steps:
Step 1 - Calendar page
Step 2 - Room & rate selection
Step 3 - Customer information
The region's "step" will be included in the options, as well as the placement. The placement and options slightly vary based on the template your RevRaise booking engine is listed, so review the screenshots below to understand how a selection will look on your template.
