Follow the steps in this article to create special rates that map to specific Rate Plan Codes in Synxis. For example:
GOVT: Government and Military
AARP: Senior Discount
AAA:AAA / CAA (Member rates)
RevRaise Access Level Required for This Function: Theme editor

Search for Hotel
- From the Hotels menu, search for the desired property.
- Press Enter on the keyboard or click Filter.
- Click the hotel name from the results.
Steps to Create Special Rate Filters

1. Before creating a rate filter in RevRaise, you must first create the special rate in Synxis. |

| 2. From the Theme menu, click the Features tab | |
| 3. Scroll down to Special Rates and click the + sign on the right side of the menu bar. | |

4. Using the checkboxes, select the desired settings for Special Rates: Enable — Display the rate (on=yes) Hide on dates step — Checked box means rate will not appear on this step. Enable Filter Rate Plan Mode — Check this box to include in the special rates list in Synxis. Visible to guests. Show Selected Special Rate Title — Check this box so guests can see the rate title.

5. Enter the special rate in the Special rates configuration freeform text box. This example provides guidance for formatting: You are programming a special rate for First Responders with the code RSPND. Type the code, a colon (:) with no spaces and the description. RSPND:First Responders 6. Click Update to save. |

Check for Updates on Booking Engine
Visit the client-facing Booking Engine URL to ensure changes display correctly.
If changes made in RevRaise do not display correctly on the Booking Engine, follow the steps in this article to clear the cache and refresh the site.
