Follow the instructions in this article to add a new room or delete an existing one. Note: To add rooms in RevRaise, you can pull rooms from SynXis. To delete them, you will do it manually in RevRaise.
RevRaise Access Level Required for This Function: Room Admin
Your access level is indicated in the lower-left corner of the RevRaise Admin Panel. |
Search for Hotel
- From the Hotels menu, search for the desired property.
- Press Enter on the keyboard or click Filter.
- Click the hotel name from the results.
Steps to Add a New Room
1. From the Rooms menu, click the Rooms tab. |

2. Click +Add new located on the right side of the top menu bar. |

Note the three sections on this screen: Image Slider, Basic Settings, and Room Details. 3. Complete the room parameters (items with * are required). Descriptions for the fields are provided in the three Rooms Settings Tables in this article below. |

4. To save, make a selection: Click Create to add the room and remain on this screen Click Create and return to list to add the room and go back to the room list Click Create and add another to add an additional room |
Rooms Settings Tables
Image Slider
Follow these steps to add images.
1. Click +Add new item | |
2. Complete the Name field, if desired |

3. Click Choose File to select the image |
|
4. Indicate the Sort Order in the drop-down menu. This is the order in which images will display when more than one image is present. 0=first, 1=next, 2=after image #1, and so on. |

5. To save, make a selection: Click Create to save the feature and remain on this screen Click Create and return to list to save and return to the features list. Click Create and add another to save the feature and create a new one |

Sold Out |
To define whether a room is sold out: If Synxis does not return room in response and Sold Out is checked, then the room is shown at the bottom of the list and greyed out. If Synxis does not return room in response and Sold Out is not checked, then the room is NOT shown in the list at all. If Synxis returns the room in response and Sold Out is checked, then the room is shown in the list based on current filtering. |

Sort Order |
Manually select the order in which room types are displayed. 0 = top, 1 = follows 0, 2 = follows 1, and so on. |

Steps to Delete an Existing Room
1. From the Rooms menu, click the Rooms tab |

2. From the list, locate the room you wish to delete | |
3. Click the checkbox to the left of the room name to highlight it (helpful, but not required) |

4. Click Delete under the Actions column on the far-right side of the table |
|
5. Select from the pop-up box Cancel to keep the room and return to the room list or Yes, delete permanently! to remove the room type. |
Check for Updates on Booking Engine
Visit the client-facing Booking Engine URL to ensure changes display correctly.
If changes made in RevRaise do not display correctly on the Booking Engine, follow the steps in this article to clear the cache and refresh the site.
