The error “A valid Promotional\Corporate Code is required to book this rate“ definitely means that the promotional code was specified for this rate and it has Password that should be passed within booking of the rate. The relationship between rate and promo code is usually specified in the promotion settings.
The root cause is in SynXis settings where the rate returned by special code is private and requires Corporate/Promotional Code (RatePlanID) for successful reservation. Even if it works on SynXis and does not work on BE, means that BE has specific limitations for that functionality.
There are two resolution options:
1. Rates returned by special codes should be public and do not require Corporate/Promotional Code
2. If these rates must be private, you should provide the Corporate/Promotional Code (RatePlanID) and we will fill it in on BE RevRaise admin portal or configure a new admin promo code. Below are the steps that you need to perform in SynXis:
-
Configure rate as negotiated.
-
Limit rate to only BE channel.
3. Configure promotion: for example, promo Revraise, private code N027, code N027, password N027.(This promo code will be private, not available for guests or other hotels staff, unless you would like to share it via email).
